The Jews Missed Jesus...

The Jews Missed Jesus...

They were looking for a Lion,
He came as a Lamb,
     and they missed Him.

They were looking for a Warrior,
He came as a Peacemaker,
     and they missed Him.

They were looking for a King,
He came as a Servant,
     and they missed Him.

They were looking for Liberation from Rome,
He submitted to the Roman cross,
     and they missed Him.

They were looking for a fit to their mold,
He was the mold maker,
     and they missed Him.

What are you looking for?
    Lion?
    Warrior?
    King?
    Liberator?

They were looking for their temporal needs to be met,
He came to meet their eternal need,
     and they missed Him.

He came as a Lamb to be sacrificed for your sin.
     Will you miss Him?

He came to make peace between God and man.
     Will you miss Him?

He came to model servanthood for all mankind.
     Will you miss Him?

He came that we might have true Liberty.
     Will you miss Him?

He came to give you eternal life.
     Will you miss Him?

When we submit to the Lamb,
    we will meet the Lion.
When we join with the Peacemaker
    we will meet the Warrior.
When we work with the Servant
    we will meet the King.
When we walk with the Submitted
    we will meet the Liberator.
When we concern ourselves with the Eternal
we will have the Temporal too.

Thank God everyday for what we have!

ЁЯНБA repost from someone worth reflecting on: The beginning of 2020 has revealed enough for deep reflection: That giant Australia is not at all invincible from fire… That mighty China could be shaken by enemies that are too small to be seen… That what we view as small is a fully destructive Volcano… That what we see as a basketball star could fall into a deadly crash… Things are, indeed… never too big nor too small… never too high nor too low… never too powerful nor too faint… never too wealthy nor too broke… never too famous nor too ordinary… Whatever our condition is, … we are all equal… the rain falls on the just and the unjust... the sun rises on the evil and the good... we are all important… we are all gifts… our current status does not define us at all… what we have or possess is never a mighty protective armor… So, in life… don’t be rude… don’t be greedy… don’t be selfish… don’t be ill-mannered… don’t be crabby… don’t be wicked… don't be unemp...

RUN FROM THE FOLLOWING CHURCHES QUICKLY

From another biblical group:*RUN FROM THE FOLLOWING  CHURCHES QUICKLY* *Run from any church where sin is not rebuked and where sinners are comfortable in their sins and iniquities. 1 Timothy 5:20 KJV* *Run from any church where money is valued more than the souls of church members by the man or woman of God. 1 Timothy 6:10 KJV* *Run from any church where comedians are invited to the pulpit to crack jokes in the presence of the Holy Spirit. Ephesians 5:4 KJV* *Run from any church where they sell water, oil, necklaces or anything for the sake of healing or deliverance. Matthew 10:7-8 KJV* *Run from any church where the man or woman of God talks about himself or herself often than Jesus Christ. John 8:44 KJV* *Run from any church where football is welcomed or celebrated. Note that football is the number one agent of the devil to steal the love of Christ from the heart of people. Matthew 10:37-37 KJV* *Run from any church where the man or woman of God builds schools, hos...
