BARNABAS Barnabas is another one of my heroes. His name means ‘Son of encouragement’ [consolation, comfort, exhortation]. *Encouragement* = _*paraklesis*_ in Greek. _Paraklesis_ is what a _parakleton_ does. _Parakleton_ is the Greek word used by Jesus to describe the Holy Spirit as a Comforter.  In other words, the fellow-Christians called Barnabas – the son of the Comforter – *because his life was so completely transformed by the work of the Holy Spirit* that he was always looking to strengthen, support n encourage people. *Barnabas had learnt to deny himself, and walk in step with the Spirit*. *Secret of Riding Over the Storm* There is a story of a sea captain who in his retirement skippered a boat taking day-trippers to Islands. On one trip, the boat was full of young people. A True and Moving Story......🙏 A sobbing little girl stood near a small church from which she had been turned away because it was too crowded. While writing a date in upcoming year 2020 , we should write that in its full format, e.g. 31/01/2020 and not as 31/01/20.,bcoz anyone can change it to 31/01/2000 or 31/01/2099 or in between any year to his/her convenience,just by adding last two digits to it. This problem will persist only this year. So be cautious about this. Don't write and also don't accept it while receiving any documents.
